Announcements, chat reactions, editable tables and more
14 September 2026- Dashboard announcement. The admin can post a message at the top of the dashboard (game night tonight!). Tap a reaction to answer.
- React to chat. Tap the small + on a message to add a quick reaction like "Wow" or "Sana all"; tap a reaction to see who reacted. The chat box is taller, and new messages peek in while the chat is closed.
- Edit a table before it starts. Hosts can change the name, bet, privacy code, chat and schedule until the first hand is dealt.
- Scheduled tables. A host may set a start time; the lobby shows it and you can add it to your calendar.
- Featured tables. The admin can pin a table to the top of the list with a FEATURED badge.
- Game history. Tap a finished table to open it again: seats, scoreboard and chat. Back returns you to the history.
- Share the invite link through your phone's share sheet, not only copy.
- Usernames next to nicknames in results and on the scoreboard, and the admin players list shows who is online first.
- Remember me on the sign-in page, plus this page and a FAQ.
- Dealers at the table. Every felt now has the dealers standing at the top, with the pot and the clock below them.
- Sounds at the table. Bets, fights and raises clink like chips, a fold tosses the cards, the clock ticks in your last seconds, and a chime tells you it is your turn. Phones need one tap on the page first; a Sound on/off switch sits under the table name.
The table looks like a table, and the showdown stays on it
14 September 2026- Every game is played on an oval felt with the players around it, you at the bottom. The dealer or mano is marked and the player to act pulses.
- When a hand ends, everyone's revealed cards stay at their seats with the winners in gold; the summary sits below.
- BetGame: you need at least a pair to name the bet or raise; with only a high card you can fold, or fight when someone else has bet.
Pusoy, poker-style BetGame, and draggable cards everywhere
13 September 2026- Pusoy (13 cards, three rows) is the fourth game. Drag your cards into the front, middle and back rows and submit; rows are compared against everyone.
- BetGame plays like poker: the mano bets or folds, then everyone folds, fights or raises. If everyone else folds, the last player needs at least a pair to take the pot.
- Cards and Mahjong tiles can be dragged between three rows to arrange your hand, in every game.
- Mahjong starts with 2 players. Every game starts with 2.
- The Android app is now the web app in a thin wrapper, so it is always up to date.
BetGame, KaLaro-only hosts, and watching
12 to 13 September 2026- BetGame arrived: five cards each, bets pooled among the players.
- Host approval is now KaLaro's own; being a KaBingo host does not carry over, and neither do credits.
- Entering a table never seats you: choose Sit down or Just watch. A host can run a table without playing, and players can stand up and watch between hands.
- Invite codes only open the table; you sit down from inside.
- House rule in Tongits: a discard that fits a meld on the table lands on it automatically (sapaw).
KaLaro opens
11 to 12 September 2026- Tongits (2 or 3 players) and Filipino Mahjong, with a bet per hand in fun credits settled by the server.
- Same account as KaBingo, separate KaLaro credits with a welcome grant.
- Private tables with invite links, table chat, game history, admin panel.
